Fashion for Paws 2009

Two huge events in the same night! Whether you went to Fashion for Paws or Artini Saturday night, you had an amazing time… yes, DC is big enough for two majors in the same night! But I was covering for DC Magazine and K Street Kate TV, so you found me at the Italian Embassy cheering on several friends as they strutted down the runway – with dogs!

Michael Saylor again generously served as this year’s presenting sponsor with great eats coming from Teatro Goldoni. Those with table accomodations also got to try the new Cavalli vodka. I’m not a vodka girl, but I heard it was smooth.

No barks or bites at this year’s FFP. All of the dogs and models behaved themselves on the runway…well, mostly! And the Washington Humane Society EXCEEDED its fundraising goal. Congrats to Tara de Nicolas and all of the fundraising models!!
