Washington Redskins Cheerleader Auditions

I was invited to be a judge at this year’s Washington Redskins Cheerleader auditions – to select the girls for the 2009-2010 season. The final night of auditions, held at the Bethesda Theater, was packed with the girls’ fans and supporters – and 55 women all hoping to make the team.

Each lady had the confidence and the courage to perform two routines (in group) onstage and showcase her hot body in a swimsuit. The judges had the difficult decision to narrow the contestants to 43 (+3 alternates) who would take the field with this year’s Washington Redskins.

How to do it? Besides the ever-importance fitness aspect, each contestant needed to exude a certain confidence and presence on stage during her performances.
Get excited about watching these girls dance at games and other appearances – their energy is infectious!
