Fans gathered at The Naval Heritage Center and the United States Navy Memorial on May 29 – with a line wrapping around the corner in anticipation – to Yelp! for the Sail Away with Yelp pre-summer sunset soiree.
We were greeted by pirates, shipmen and sailors at the door, then trotted downstairs to sample snacks from Jackson’s Famous Roasting & Carving Company, Giffords Ice Cream, Busboys & Poets, and others. And don’t let us forget to mention libations from Honest Tea, Domaine de Canton and Tilia Wi
neries. (There was an especially popular line for various flavored milkshakes from Z-Burger… they even shelled out coupons for free burgers! Hope you didn’t miss out on that one!)

The band, Party on Marz, really set the mood spinning hits for a crowd dressed up for the occasion – sailor hats, eye patches… and even inner tubes! Our most fun of the night? Poses and picture taking at the Jolt Events green screen photo booth. Want more pictures? Visit here.
