Bad.

Whether or not you are superstitious enough to believe that tradegies happen in threes, you had to have been shocked yesterday when the trio of celebrity passings started with long time ailing Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcett and ended with the unthinkable… Michael Jackson.

Each an icon and a legend in their own right, from Johnny Carson super sidekick and “Star Search” host (I tired out years ago, if only I had gotten far enough through the finals to meet him!), to Charlie’s Angel to the King of Pop. Over the next days and weeks, there will be tributes aplenty for these shining stars and the brightness they brought to lives around them, both as entertainers and fundraisers/philanthropists but also as people – because let us not forget they were someone’s sister/brother, daughter/son, Aunt/Uncle as well.

To all three of you… from all of us who appreciate you… rest in peace and know that you will be remembered.
