Jefferson Hotel Celebrates Opening

You remember how much we loved it when we stopped by just after the opening in early Fall. So we made sure to stop by the official opening cocktail party of the Jefferson Hotel last night… maybe because we were intrigued by the champagne fountain… definitely because we wanted to see how much the rest of Washington was enjoying our special find.

We ran into former DNC Chairman Terry Mcauliffe, DC Magazine Publisher Peter Abrahams and Politico Staff Writer Amie Parnes while sampling French sparkling vodka, champagne (of course), and delighting in the seafood spread.

We took to a quiet nook to enjoy the string quartet while others took part in some of the evening’s fun. Ten winning room keys had been placed in the invitations… if the key opened a door, a fab prize was won! Our fab prize? We now have a ‘membership’ to the Jefferson’s serene spa, otherwise only available to hotel guests.
