Over the river, through t
he woods (and snow)… not to Grandmother’s House, but to Luxxery we go! Saturday evening, true fans – and a lot of media – braved the season’s first snowstorm to share warm holiday cheer at the official open house of the truly luxurious cosmetic surgery and spa center, a KSK sponsor, in Waldorf.
Celebrity plastic surgeon and founder of Luxxery, Dr. Ayman Hakki welcomed guests in from the winter weather as #4 Billboard Jazz artist Marcus Johnson treated them to his tickling of the keyboard ivories. This evening of rejuvenation and anti-aging tips provided remarkable access to speak with Dr. Hakki about cosmetic surgery misconceptions, the latest rejuvenation procedures, Botox or other injectable fillers, Latisse Eyelash Lengthener… and so many other services and treatments offered.
The surgery room was fascinating (mental note: make plans to return for a Botox party… how interesting!!), but the showstealer may have been hairstylist David Palmer, who performed mane makeovers on many of the media in attendance. Here, On Tap’s Ashley Estill gets highlights and a sophisticated cut. (Hers looked so fun and fab, I put myself in line for a quick cut as well. “After” picture below.)
Minor treatments and gift certificates sold during the event helped to benefit Zonta International, a charitable organization which advances the status of women worldwide.
Our own status check? Stylin‘ in Luxxery… but still shocked by the snow
