Socially Speaking

At the root of networking is the need to make a connection. This was the topic of my speech at the monthly Work It, Girl Lunch, Laugh & Learn luncheon of Reston entrepreneurs and other professionals Wednesday afternoon.

Business babes like Julie Canellos of Stella & Dot, Dana Johnston of Nicole-Leigh Designs, and Penny Germanis an independent consultant for Rodan & Fields were among those who ate and asked questions about…creating a conversation (particularly with conversational media), innovation, differentiation and how to create and maintain a personal brand.
