Night Sessions on H Street… for N Street (Village)

“DC is the place to come and speak your mind if you are an artist,”  said Holster Records’ Justin Fishkin, an organizer of Thursday night’s benefit event at the Rock and Roll Hotel (seen here with co-event Producer Sarah Flack and Bisnow’s Michael Ponticelli).

Bringing together three local bands to help young professionals in DC learn about and support the mission of N Street Village, a women’s homeless shelter and recovery community in Washington, N Street Village Night Sessions boasted musical performances by Laser Unit*, Tom McBride and Evan Bliss (pictured) as well as a special set by Bethenny’s Women of Praise.

We caught up with Justin and Tom to tell us how the night went – and catch a little of the flavor of H Street – as they were packing up the gear after the show.. and distracted Tom so much that he forgot his guitar!
