What’s Up with #DCWeek ??!

Your high school history prof told you those letters stood for District of Columbia, but not this week!

This week is Digital Capital Week, where all over town, some 10,000+ designers, developers, entrepreneurs and other social innovators will be talking tech at a weeklong festival of digerati and distraction. The week’s schedule of offerings is overpowering, so check it here… but there are a few bits of fun where a simple miss may actually be an #epicfail.

DC Week Fashion Day, a series of surprisingly popular fashion/tech panels on Tuesday (11/8), also includes a Kal Rieman trunk show and a Geek to Chic runway show featuring the most adorable male digi-mavens around.

Thursday’s Core Conference (11/10) includes TechBuzz, where start-ups can pitch to venture capitalists, followed by a day of workhorse seminars, which ends with a TechCocktail Mixer .

Friday’s (11/11) National Piggy Bank Summit is a place to deposit your ideas about the state of America today before the week’s prime Closing Party at Arena Stage.

There’s working capital in the Capitol!
