DC Home to Potential “Best New Pastry Chef”

Cicely Austin, pastry chef power dining spots, The Oval Room, The Bombay Club and Ardeo+Bardeo was recently named by FOOD & WINE magazine as one of the best new pastry chefs in the country.  A network of journalists and chefs tapped fifty pastry chefs — all of whom have run a restaurant pastry kitchen for five years or fewer — to be eligible for the title of  “The People’s Best New Pastry Chef,” or one of three regional accolades.
