Fashion Gets Its Paws Inside the Jefferson Hotel

Community models, committee members and show supporters gathered at the Jefferson Hotel Monday night to kick off the 6th annual Fashion for Paws runway show fundraising season, which benefits the Washington Humane Society.

The organization announced new policies for the 2012 event, including that is has increased its ask — requiring each model to raise a minimum of $5,000 this year — for the chance to wear Spring fashions on the catwalk at the main event, which takes place at the National Building Museum on April 14th with emcee Ashlan Gorse of E! News.

Guests at Monday night’s launch enjoyed drinking themed cocktails, exchanging fundraising success stories, and viewing a photo exhibit of images from previous years’ runway show events.
