Fashion Takes Flight 2012

DC’s style sellers are used to their garments flying off the shelves, but Saturday night, they were making other things fly as well.

Ella Rue, Donovan England, Nam Nyugen, Walish Gooshe and Streets of Georgetown all participated in the 4th annual Luke’s Wings Fashion Takes Flight fundraising event, this year held at Nationals Ballpark and underwritten by a generous donation from the Kazi Investment Group.

Guests enjoyed cocktails and an exhibition of some of the District’s finest threads modeled by THE Artist Agency’s fresh faces and select servicemen and women, all in an effort to reconnect wounded warriors with loving family members to speed their recovery.
