Michel Daley and Jordan Cappolla‘s new space — a true New Orleans-style jazz and blues lounge — celebrated the granting of its live music license by welcoming such local VIPs as ABC 7 anchor Leon Harris and WPGC’s Sunni In The City (left with Jasmine McGee) to toast and taste in Crystal City’s newest live music eatery Friday night.
A music-themed resto-lounge, Melody Tavern (3650 S. Glebe Road, Suite 170, Arlington,
VA) officially opened its doors for live music with a grand opening celebration featuring a performance by local jazz guru Lena Seikaly.
“We think of ourselves as a ‘hidden jewel,’”explained Daley. “We are definitely a destination… There is no other venue quite like us in this area.”
