Melt-worthy

It sounds cheesy… and it was!  The Melting Pot restaurant in Dupont hosted a “Fondue Effect,” an intimate crock-pot and cocktail reception, Thursday evening. Dishing up American classic foods in fondue form from their Big Night Out menu, the restaurant gave guests a mouth-watering experience and extremely full tummies!

Guests’ only hesitation was being the first to dig in, but Greg O’Neill, Johnna Rowe and Jade Floyd dipped into Spinach and Artichoke Cheese and Wisconsin Trio Cheese before lingering at the pot with the popular beer and bacon infused Boston Lager Cheddar Cheese Fondue.

At the dessert table, it was hard not to double dip!  Marshmallows and red velvet cake smothered in classic Dark Chocolate Fondue, PB&J-inspired Chocolate Wildberry Crunch Fondue, and the White Chocolate Crème Brûlée Fondue (an item not yet found on the menu!) were heavy crowd-favorites.

Grab that fondue fork fast! The current Big Night Out menu melts off on April 15th.
