One of a Kind Shows, Shopping at Crystal Couture

Free makeovers, body art and face painting, wardrobe styling and continuous runway shows greeted guests Wednesday night at the 4th annual Crystal Couture Showcase and Sale, an event which continues at the Crystal City Shops throughout the week.

Put on by the Crystal City Business Improvement District and hosted nightly by various personalities-about-town, Crystal Couture is part art exhibition, trendy nightclub, fashion show, hip retail store… and all local.

K Street Kate’s Kate Michael and former America’s Next Top Model contestant Bianca Chardei introduced talented local boutiques and designers Wednesday as they took to the catwalk, surrounded by one of a kind shopping and other fashionable experiences.

Crystal Couture continues with Karen Sommer Shalett (DC Magazine) hosting Thursday night, HOT 99.5 DJ Sarah Fraser teaming up with Go Red for Women for a red hot night on Friday, and Angie Goff from NBC4 closing the event on Saturday.
